How Dialaroo Rates Work
Dialaroo uses a simple pay-as-you-go model. You purchase credits starting from $5, and each call deducts from your balance based on the per-minute rate for the destination. Rates differ between landline and mobile numbers in the same country - mobile calls are typically slightly more expensive due to higher carrier costs. There are no connection fees, no rounding up to the next minute, and no hidden surcharges. The rate you see on this page is exactly what you pay.
Why Are Our Rates So Low?
Traditional phone carriers charge premium rates for international calls because of legacy infrastructure and middlemen. Dialaroo routes calls over the internet using WebRTC technology and connects to the phone network through wholesale carrier agreements. This eliminates the overhead of traditional telecom and allows us to pass the savings directly to you. The result: rates that are up to 50x cheaper than what your phone company charges.
Landline vs Mobile Rates
You will notice two rates for most countries: a landline rate and a mobile rate. Landline rates are typically lower because fixed-line calls are cheaper to terminate on the destination network. Mobile rates include a mobile termination charge set by the destination carrier. In some countries (like the USA and Canada), landline and mobile rates are the same because of flat-rate termination agreements.
Rate Changes
Rates are based on wholesale carrier pricing and may change periodically as carrier costs fluctuate. We always display the current rate before you place a call, so you will never be surprised. If a rate changes during an active call, the original rate applies for the entire duration of that call.
